I come from a long lineage of jewellers—my family has been in the craft of precious jewellery since 1915. For the past 10 years, I’ve been working full-time in our business, learning the nuances of the craft. But my journey into creating Silver Nursing Cups began in an entirely different and deeply personal way.

A couple of years ago, a close friend of mine became a mother. When we spoke a few months after her delivery, she opened up about something I had not seen coming : the physical pain and emotional stress that came with breastfeeding. That’s when she introduced me to silver nursing cups—a new solution based on ancient wisdom that had helped her heal.

Silver, being naturally anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory, can soothe and support healing when placed directly on sore or damaged nipples. I realized that despite their benefits, silver nipple cups were not available in India.

More importantly, I realized these challenges are rarely spoken about. New mothers are often flooded with advice—but very few conversations truly prepare them for the raw, painful realities of nursing.

Determined to create a product that was both effective and beautifully crafted, I decided to make the nursing cups from the purest form of silver—.999 fine silver.

Thanks to the real mothers who tested our samples, shared their stories, and gave feedback, we’ve refined and perfected the design. Their trust turned this product into what it is today—a healing companion for moms navigating the highs and lows of breastfeeding.
